Your website copy

How your website copy gets written from your questionnaire answers, when it happens, what it produces, and what to do if it fails or reads wrong.

EasyDigz writes your website copy for you, from the answers you gave in the About You step. You never start from a blank page, you start from a draft in your own voice and edit it.

#When it happens

The moment you click Continue at the end of About You. It runs in the background while you carry on through Theme and Contacts, which is exactly why those steps sit between About You and Review, they buy the writing time.

Writing starts after About You and is finished by the time you reach Review.

You never wait on a loading screen for this. If you move fast and reach Review early, the copy may still be arriving, give it a moment.

#Reviewing and editing it

The Review step shows each piece as an editable card, with a live preview of the real site beside them. Read it properly, this is the text your clients will judge you on.

  1. 1

    Read each card.

  2. 2

Edit anything that does not sound like you.

EZ Assist writes from your answers, but it does not know your voice as well as you do. Small edits go a long way.

  3. 3

Check the preview to see it in place.

  4. 4

    Continue when you are happy.

Reaching Review unlocks your site

Getting to this step is what opens your website to real visitors. Before it, anyone visiting is redirected away, deliberately, so nobody lands on a half-written site. That is why the copy is generated before the site goes live, not after.

#If it did not work

If generation failed, the Review step shows a Retry button instead of missing or broken content. Click it. If it fails again, contact support, you are not expected to write the site yourself as a workaround.

#Changing your answers afterwards

Editing your questionnaire does not rewrite your site

The copy is written once. Going back and changing an About You answer later does not silently regenerate your website, which is deliberate, since it would throw away edits you made. To change your site text, edit the text itself in Tenant Settings. See Editing your site content.

#If you had a site before

Generation overwrites existing copy

If your account predates the setup wizard and you had already written your own website content, going through this step replaces it with newly written text. Copy anything you want to keep somewhere safe first, then paste it back at the Review step.
