Once the records are in, EasyDigz checks for them. It reads what is currently published for your domain, so what you see is the position right now.
#The three states
| State | Means | Do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | The records are not visible yet. Normal immediately after adding them | Wait. Check back in a few hours |
| Verified | Everything checks out. Sending is unlocked | Nothing, go and send |
| Failed | Something is wrong with the records themselves | See When verification will not pass |
DNS changes spread across the internet gradually. Pending shortly after you add records means "not yet", not "wrong". Give it hours before you start changing things, re-entering records that were correct is the most common way people make this worse.
#How long
| Elapsed | Expectation |
|---|---|
| Minutes | Sometimes enough. Many registrars are fast |
| A few hours | Typical |
| Up to 48 hours | The outer limit. Still normal |
| More than 48 hours | Something is wrong, go to troubleshooting |
#Checking
- 1
Go to Tenant Settings → Email Domain.
- 2
Use the verify buttons beside the records.
- 3
Records that have taken effect show as verified; the rest stay pending.
While you are on the Domain step of setup, EasyDigz re-checks quietly every 30 seconds, so it notices the moment verification passes without you refreshing.
#What unlocks
- Drip campaigns can start sending.
- Trigger emails can fire.
- The Email your list button on Go Live works.
- Campaign analytics start recording opens, clicks and bounces.
#It is always checked fresh
Your domain is re-checked every time it matters, rather than being taken on trust from an earlier check. That cuts both ways: a domain that stops working later is caught, and a domain that passes moments ago works immediately without waiting for anything to catch up.
It is why the Email your list button on the Go Live screen can send you back to the Domain step even though you set the domain up, it is telling you the current truth, not a stale one.
