Calendar

Where inspections, closings and appointments show up, and what puts them there.

The calendar collects the dates attached to your work, inspections, closings, settlement dates and appointments, in one place instead of across records.

#What appears

Dates recorded against your listings and deals surface here automatically. Entering an inspection date on a property puts it on the calendar; you do not add it twice.

The record is the source

Because dates flow from the record, the calendar is only as complete as the records are. A closing date nobody entered is a closing date the calendar cannot show.

#Dates that also send email

Several dates drive triggers, so they do more than sit in a view:

DateTrigger
Closing dateClosing Date Reminder
Settlement dateSettlement Date Reminder, 14 days before by default

See The 13 preset triggers.

#Using it well

  • Enter dates on the record as soon as you know them, that is what makes both the calendar and the reminders work.
  • Check it at the start of the week rather than the day.
  • A date that changes should be changed on the record, not worked around.
