The bell at the top of the sidebar collects everything that happened while you were elsewhere, with an unread count.
#What generates one
| Area | Examples |
|---|---|
| Property | A stage change, a price change on a favourited home, a saved search match |
| Contact | A new registration, a linked account, activity on your site |
| Workflow | A deal moving stage, an upcoming date, a document event |
| System | An import finishing, a campaign auto-pausing, a support reply |
#How it updates
New alerts are checked for every 15 minutes, so the bell stays current without you refreshing. Notifications carry a sound and deep-link straight to the record they are about, one click, no hunting.
#Turning things down
Preferences control what you receive and how. If everything is a notification, nothing is, pruning is worth doing early.
Anything a client did, a saved search, a favourite, a registration, and anything the platform did on your behalf, such as a campaign auto-pausing. Those are the alerts where not knowing costs you something.
#Or batch them
Instead of individual alerts, you can receive one summary a day or a week. See Daily and weekly digests.
