Your first day, the checklist

The whole setup in the order that works, with the 48-hour step flagged so you start it first. Follow this and you finish the day live, with your listings loaded and your contacts in.

This is the page to follow if you are new. Everything below is in dependency order, each step needs the one before it, so working top to bottom is genuinely faster than jumping around.

Read this before you start anything else

Email domain verification depends on DNS changes that can take up to 48 hours to take effect, and until it passes, EasyDigz cannot send email at all. Start it early. If you leave it to the end, you will finish everything else and then wait two days before you can email anybody.

The setup order. Each step depends on the one above it, and email setup is the long pole, so it starts early.

#The sequence

  1. 1

Sign up and answer the About You questions.

This is what everything downstream is built from, your licence number pulls in your listings, your service areas fill your homepage, and your answers become your website copy. See Signing up.

  2. 2

Pick a theme and upload your photos.

The preview on the right is your real site, not a picture of one. See Choosing a theme.

  3. 3

Start email domain setup as soon as you have a domain in mind.

You can do this from the wizard's Domain step or from Tenant Settings. The DNS clock starts the moment you submit. See Why you must do this first.

  4. 4

    Import your contacts.

CSV or Excel from wherever they live now. The importer fixes messy data rather than rejecting it. See Bulk upload.

  5. 5

    Check your listings came in.

The MLS import runs off the licence number from your questionnaire and can take up to 24 hours. See The automatic MLS import.

  6. 6

Review your generated copy and publish.

This is the first screen that shows your real content, and reaching it unlocks your site for visitors. See Your website copy.

  7. 7

Once your email domain verifies, send your launch email.

Until you send one real email, EasyDigz keeps reminding you, deliberately. See Writing one email.

#What can run in parallel

Three things happen in the background and do not need you watching them. Start them, then carry on with the next step.

Runs in the backgroundHow longYou will know it finished when
EZ Assist writing your website copyA few minutesThe Review step shows real text instead of sample copy
MLS import of your listingsUp to 24 hoursListings and Opportunities fill up
Email domain DNS verificationUp to 48 hoursThe Email Domain screen shows verified, and campaign sending unlocks

#How you know you are done

EasyDigz tracks two milestones, and they are not the same thing. Understanding the difference explains a popup you will otherwise find puzzling.

MilestoneReached whenWhat it changes
Site unlockedYou reach the Review stepYour website opens normally for visitors instead of redirecting them
Setup completeYou actually send a real emailThe "tell your contacts" reminder stops appearing at login
Reaching the last screen is not the same as finishing

Landing on Go Live does not mark you complete on its own. The platform waits until it sees a real email leave your account. That is deliberate, a site nobody has been told about is not really launched.

#If you already had an account

Agents whose accounts predate the setup wizard are handled differently, some never see it, some go through it behind a one-time terms gate. Signing up covers all three cases.
