People increasingly find agents by asking an AI assistant rather than by searching. Your site is built so both can read it, and so both attribute what they find to your business, not to EasyDigz.
All of this is automatic on every EasyDigz site, new and existing. There is no setting. What follows is what happens on its own, and what you can do to make it more effective.
#What happens automatically
| What | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Your brand in page titles and descriptions | Search results and AI answers name your business, not EasyDigz |
| Machine-readable business information | Your name, phone, email and address published in a format assistants can read directly |
| Readable homepage, About page and blog posts | The three things an assistant reads to work out what you do |
| Link previews with your branding | Sharing your link on WhatsApp, LinkedIn or Slack shows your name and logo |
| A sitemap of your own pages and posts | Search engines discover new content without being told |
robots.txt kept up to date | Crawlers know what they may read |
#The five things worth completing
The machinery works regardless. These are what determine whether it has anything good to say about you.
- 1
Fill in your business information completely.
Name, phone, email, address and description. This is what gets published in machine-readable form, blanks are simply absent from the answer. Tenant Settings → Contact Us.
- 2
Upload your logo.
Used in assistant-generated previews and every shared link.
- 3
Complete your About page.
Say what your business does, what services you offer, which areas you serve, and why someone should choose you. This is the page an assistant reads to describe you.
- 4
Publish blog content.
The single highest-value thing on this list, see below.
- 5
Use a custom domain.
Your own domain carries more weight than a subdomain. See Connecting your own domain.
#Why the blog matters most
Your homepage says who you are. Blog posts prove what you know, and they are what assistants quote when someone asks a specific question, "what are prices doing in Cary", "is it a good time to buy in Durham". Market updates, community guides, buying and selling advice and local insight all work.
See Writing a post. EZ Assist will draft them for you.
#How long it takes
| Timing | |
|---|---|
| AI platforms picking up changes | Typically 24–72 hours after you publish |
| Search engines | Varies, your sitemap updates immediately, indexing does not |
A blog post with No Index set stays out of search engines and out of your sitemap entirely. That is the correct behaviour for a draft or an internal note, and the wrong setting to leave on a post you want found. See SEO and the pre-publish checklist.
