The Media section of a listing holds everything visual. Photos usually arrive with the MLS import; the rest you add.
#What you can add
| Type | How |
|---|---|
| Images | Upload directly |
| Video | Upload directly |
| Virtual tour | Paste the link |
| 3D tour | Paste the link |
#Adding media
- 1
Open the listing and find the Media section.
- 2
Use the search box at the top of the form if the section is hard to find.
Listing forms are long, searching for a section is faster than scrolling.
- 3
Upload files, or paste tour links.
- 4
Save, and check the listing page.
#Media that survives a stage change
Several media fields stay editable after a listing moves stage, the video URL, image URLs, and the Matterport identifier and date among them. You can add a tour to a listing that is already live.
#Getting it right
- Photo order matters, the first image is the one people see in search results and in your Trending Properties section.
- Check tour links after pasting. A link that works for you may require a login for a visitor.
- Large video slows the page. A hosted link is usually better than a direct upload.
Listing media appears on your public site, so it is doing marketing work as well as record-keeping. A weak first photo costs you clicks in the Trending Properties strip on your homepage.
