This page is written to be read by both sides. Brokers should know the limits of their view; agents should know what their broker can see.
#The rule
A broker sees the agents mapped to their account, and nothing outside that relationship. It applies consistently across the roster, the dashboard views, saved searches, account relationships and shared notes, not only on the main screen.
#What a broker can see
| Can | Cannot |
|---|---|
| The roster of their own agents | Any agent belonging to another broker |
| Those agents’ activity counts and setup status | Anything belonging to an unmanaged agent |
| Their campaigns, blogs and audiences | Edit an agent’s records |
| Their listings and opportunities, read-only | |
| Account relationships and shared notes for their own agents |
The record viewer is for understanding, not editing. A broker cannot change an agent’s listing or deal from here.
#For agents
If you are managed by a broker, they can see your activity on the platform, your campaigns, your blogs and how far you got through setup, and they can open your listings and deals read-only. They cannot edit your records, and no other broker can see any of it.
A documented boundary is one people can rely on. An undocumented one gets discovered, and the discovery is always worse than the disclosure.
