Email Health lives in the Drip Campaign Builder. It is the one place that answers "is my sending in good shape?", worth a glance before any large send.
#What it shows
| Row | Tells you |
|---|---|
| Sending paused | Only appears during a lockout, with a countdown, or a message to contact support |
| Daily sends | How many marketing emails left your account in the last 24 hours |
| Skips (7d) | Emails not sent in the last week, broken down by reason |
| Bounces (30d) | Your bounce count, with a green, amber or red indicator |
| Bad addresses | Opens the cleanup list |
#Reading the bounce indicator
| Colour | Means | Do |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Normal | Nothing |
| Amber | Higher than it should be | Clean your list before the next big send |
| Red | You are close to, or past, an auto-pause | Stop and clean up now, see Auto-pause and lockouts |
Red usually means a campaign has already been paused. Amber is the free warning, and cleaning up then costs you ten minutes instead of a 48-hour lockout.
#Skips by reason
Each reason is a chip, click one to see the exact addresses affected. This is the fastest route to "why did this person not get it", covered fully in Why an email did not send.
#Cleaning bad addresses
- 1
Click Bad addresses.
- 2
Review the list.
Some are typos worth correcting; most are dead and should be suppressed.
- 3
Remove or suppress them.
- 4
If a campaign was auto-paused, resume it and confirm the list is cleaned.
The campaign will not restart until you tick the acknowledgement.
#When to look at it
- Before starting a campaign to a large or newly imported audience.
- The moment anything looks wrong with sending.
- After any import, a fresh list is where bad addresses arrive.
- Once a month, as habit.
