Signing up starts on the Doorify signup form and continues into a four-step wizard inside your admin panel at /admin/profile. The two halves are one continuous flow, your progress is tracked from the very first screen, but inside the wizard itself About You is step one, domain and contacts are handled separately, from Tenant Settings, not as wizard steps.

#Before the wizard

Three screens happen on the Doorify signup form, before you reach the admin panel:

#The four steps

Custom domain, branded email and contacts are not wizard steps

They are handled from Tenant Settings and Bulk upload, any time, not as steps in this wizard. Both your custom domain and your branded email depend on DNS, which can take up to 48 hours, so the useful move is to start those from Tenant Settings on day one and let the clock run in the background while you go through the wizard. #Leaving and coming back

You can stop at any point. Your answers are saved every time you move forward a step, and you resume at the furthest step you reached. Going Back to review something does not lose your place, the platform remembers the furthest point, not the current one.

#What each step unlocks

Reaching this step	Causes
About You, clicking Continue	EZ Assist starts writing your website copy in the background. You do not wait for it.
Review	Your website unlocks for real visitors. Before this, visitors are redirected away, so nobody lands on a half-written site.
Go Live	Nothing on its own. Setup is only marked complete once you actually send an email.

On the last screen, Email your list checks your branded email domain at the moment you click it, so it always tells you the current position. Three outcomes:

Your situation	What happens
Never set up an email domain	A message says so and sends you to Tenant Settings to start it
Set one up, still verifying	A message reminds you to finish the setup email you were sent, and returns you to Tenant Settings
Verified	Opens the email composer so you can actually send

The Go Live screen redirects you into Tenant Settings automatically after about 40 seconds, so do not be surprised if it moves on while you are reading it.

#If your account is older than the wizard

Some agents registered before this wizard existed. There are three situations:

Situation	What you see
You completed the old questionnaire	Nothing. You are already marked as onboarded and never see the wizard.
You never finished the old questionnaire	You go through the new wizard normally.
Any older account entering the wizard	A one-time Terms & Conditions screen before anything else. It cannot be dismissed, because you already have an account, accept it once and it never appears again.

If you customised your site before the wizard existed

Going through the wizard's content generation step will overwrite existing website copy with freshly written text. If you have hand-written content you want to keep, copy it somewhere safe before starting, or edit it back in at the Review step.
