Your social profiles live on their own page, Social Links, with one box per platform. Save them once and they appear on every page of your website, and in the information Google and AI assistants read about your business.
#Adding your profiles
- 1
Open Social Links from the left menu of your admin panel.
- 2
If you are asked for a Company Name, enter it first.
Your links only appear on your site once a company name is set, so the link boxes stay locked until there is one.
- 3
Paste the full link for each platform you use.
It must start with
https://. Leave a box empty for any platform you do not use. - 4
Click Save Social Links.
| Platform | What to paste |
|---|---|
Your profile or company page, for example https://www.linkedin.com/in/yourname | |
| Your business page | |
| Google Business Profile | Search for your business on Google Maps, open your listing, tap Share, and paste that link |
Your profile, for example https://www.instagram.com/yourhandle | |
| X (Twitter) | Your profile, for example https://x.com/yourhandle |
A link that is not a full web address, or that belongs to a different platform (a Facebook link in the LinkedIn box, say), shows an error as soon as you leave the box, and Save stays disabled until it is fixed.
If you had already typed your profiles into the old social profiles box in Tenant Settings, they are filled in for you. To remove a profile, clear its box and save.
#Where they appear
| Where | How |
|---|---|
| Every page of your website | As icons in the footer, on the homepage, About Us, Contact Us, your blog and every post, FAQs, Search and listing pages. Each opens the profile in a new tab |
| Contact Us | Also listed as named links, for example "*Your Company* on LinkedIn", so a visitor, or an assistant reading the page, sees exactly what each one is |
| Google and AI assistants | Included in the machine-readable business details every page carries, which is how Google, ChatGPT and other assistants connect your profiles to your business |
- Only the platforms you saved are shown. Save none and no social icons appear at all, rather than empty ones.
- Your website never shows EasyDigz's own social accounts in place of yours.
Listing your profiles in your business details is the standard way to tell Google and AI assistants "these profiles are this business". They decide for themselves whether and when to use it, so it improves your chances rather than promising a result. See Being found by Google and assistants.
#Worth doing
- Add every profile you actively keep up to date, an assistant that finds a matching LinkedIn and Google Business Profile is more confident it has the right business.
- Add your Google Business Profile link even if you add nothing else. It is where your reviews live.
- Do not add profiles you have abandoned. An empty or outdated page linked from your site does more harm than none.
