#How it runs

Automatically, once for a new agent finishing onboarding through their association, then on a schedule for agents with MLS auto-import on.

The MLS Import page is not in the left menu

Open it directly at yoursite.com/admin/imports. Every agent can reach it this way, not only association agents.

#Running it by hand

Open the MLS Import page.
yoursite.com/admin/imports

Check the MLS ID(s) and MLS Name (Optional) boxes.
Filled in for you from your MLS details.

Optional: click Check for Missing Records.
Shows how many records are available before you commit.

Click Start Import.
The page shows "Success!" and a live log of imported, skipped and failed records.

#What gets imported

A deal you already have (same MLS number) is skipped.
A record with no MLS number, address, city or price is not imported, it goes to Information Needed instead.
A buyer account is created for each deal, usually named "[street] - Buyer" (for closed or ended deals it may use the current owner’s name). For an active or pending deal you are asked to enter your buyer client’s contact information yourself.
If a listing on the platform shares the MLS number, the Opportunity is linked to it, and the listing’s documents are copied across, marked From Listing.

#Which stage an imported Opportunity starts at

An imported deal can start at Closed Lost

Unlike a listing, which follows a normal stage order on import, an Opportunity imported straight at Closed Lost skips the stage emails entirely, since it was never moved through them one by one. See The 8 Opportunity stages for why moving a live deal there yourself is different.

#Rescuing a failed record — Import Anyway

Shown only for agents who log in through their association, or who have MLS auto-import on.

Open Opportunities and click Information Needed, then Import Failures.

Find the record and click Import Anyway.

A window titled "Import with Missing Data" explains a temporary account will be created.
Click Import Anyway again to confirm.

The platform imports it and asks you to fill in the missing fields.

Already have that MLS number?

You see "You already have MLS# … in your opportunities. No duplicate created," and nothing happens twice.
